Why is Amazon deactivating my product because of the price?
Why does Amazon deactivate my product because they think I should have a lower price? This is not a buy box item, this is our product and we can price it as much as we want.

Because they have a FAIR PRICE policy.
Some bot must have found the same or similar product elsewhere...
That bot has sucked since 2017

Yes. It is completely insane. I just posted in another thread about this. There is an item I buy for $3.20. I am a verified distributor of this product. I buy it directly from the manufacturer. It costs about $4 to ship. Amazon takes about $1.50. This adds up to about $8.70 in expenses. Amazon will not let me sell this item for more than $1.20.
Nothing I do will change this. Setting the minimum and maximum does not change it. So I sell these items like crazy on other platforms.
This is a fact of live on Amazon. :( Amazon has bots running lose causing destruction and Amazon refuses to address or even acknowledge the issue.

You may have listed a high and los price in your account for the item. If your item goes on sale below the low price or you raise it above the high price you listed, they will suppress the listing due to a pricing error. Just change the high and low prices or remove them altogether and save it. Wait a bit and then change the item price by 5 cents or something small and save it. That should fix it. If not, tag a moderator for help after you open a case and post the case number when you tag the moderator to get faster assistance. By the way, if Amazon suggests the sale price and it is below your listed low price, it will still block you. Go figure.....not surprised.
Sometimes just changing a price by 5 cents and saving it will also reactivate an ASIN.

I had a DVD that only I had in stock, but recently Amazon didnt like me charging $25.99 so it was deactivated for high price. I have several copies, so I listed one on ebay at my desired price since Amazon wouldn't display it.
Could be a coincidence, but the suppression has been removed from the Amazon offer after about 2 weeks...did the bots find my ebay listing and respond accordingly?

Its called "price fixing" and technically its illegal.

Because their A.i./robots are nazis, and they look all over the internet all the time for the cheapest possible price.
Amazon does not care about it's sellers, only it's customers.
(even though it's sellers are also it's customers, and without the sellers, Amazon would no longer be the "everything store" since there are things they simply cannot source themselves)

We'll add in another scenario on top of the common Fair Price answer that was earlier given. We encountered that Amazon themselves put in a "reserve price" that they use for clearance on their purchase on Vendor Central. If you are selling through FBM or even Fulfilled by Amazon through your seller central account, yet encountered price deactivation because it's too high, then you need to contact Amazon rep to remove that "reserve price" that they set up. You might get to see what the price is on the Account Health Rating and see it under Policy Violation. Sometimes it does listed the price Amazon's vendor central buyer have put to clear out the inventory. My guess is that they put the price extremely low to win the buy box for Amazon's own account and made sure the non-"Amazon" sellers won't get a chance to be on listing.... because everyone sells it way to high and would be getting notice of price violations.
This is just one other scenario that is out there if your product participated on selling at Vendor Central either by yourself or by other seller/manufacturer/distributor.

I hate to give you a pessimistic outlook, but honestly and truly I wish you good luck with this problem. I have been calling, emailing, and non stop contacting Amazon's support team. I promise you, they do not care the slightest about you or your business. I have been dealing with this same case for almost 2 months with no help at all, all the support agents do is send you a already completed message template saying that they request your patience and the team is looking into your issue. I can promise you they arn't. Every time I follow up and call this is all I can get from the team. It's truly so disgusting, I literally told them that if I do not start selling my product before Christmas I will go out of business due to a massive loss of pre ordered sales and clients and they couldn't have cared less. I have submitted multiple hard proof of evidence for my case and they literally do not care to even help you. What's even more disgusting is I found out the first 3 support team members I dealt with on the phone never ended up even putting a support ticket through for me. I mean absolutely disgusting from Amazon. They're the sole reason my business is failing and they do not care an ounce. Like someone else said, they only care about their customers, not sellers. If anyone finds a solution please let me know, but I promise you, you're most likely screwed and will have to request your inventory back like I did.
