Trademark Symbol on Title

I want to add trademark logo (R symbol) after my brand name on title of the listings:

E.g: EXAMPLE® Product Title Example

I concern whether it affects ranking & search result because customers usually search without R symbol.

Please help me to consult if you have experience.

What you want to do doesn't fall under Amazon's actual policy requirements per se, but it is mentioned under the tips portion of the Seller Help page. (Bolding below is mine).

Tips

Good title quality is a key factor to ensuring a positive customer experience on Amazon. Following are additional tips for improving the quality of your titles. Although we only search-suppress products with titles that violate one of the above-mentioned [you'll need to access the page to see the "above-mentioned" reference] requirements, we strongly encourage adherence to these standards:

  • Don't use non-language ASCII characters such as Æ, ©, or ®.

Product title requirements

I advise to decide for yourself how you want to proceed after studying the Amazon policy at the link provided above. However, if you're looking for an opinion, I personally wouldn't do it.

Hi there @Seller_UIHEqi7o5VZtc,

To add to @Seller_LImVvUWeyiCfQ's very well worded response, part of the reason to keep the title line clear of these characters to ensure that the products are easily searchable and identifiable by buyers as you suggested.

Additionally you can see the specific policies regarding Brand Names and Product title requirements below:

What if my brand name contains a prohibited character, such as !, ©, ™, or ®?

Ensure that your brand name is entered in the brand name field. If it contains a prohibited character, that character will be exempt from title requirements. Our aim is to keep titles free from characters such as !, ©, ™, or ®, but they may appear in the brand byline that appears on detail pages and in search results.

I hope this helps you make your decision. Have a great day.
