Scam refund requests
Heads up: I was getting below requests through Amazon messages. These are especially hilarious when the product in question is non-combustible, but other sellers might take the statements seriously and just refund to avoid the hassle. So far every communication like that was from UK.
> I am about to file a lawsuit against you for compensation due to the situation I experienced with this product. This product burned while working! Can you refund all my money immediately? I don't want to complain to Amazon.
> With great hope, I sent this product to my friend as a gift. I have been an Amazon customer for a long time, but we have never encountered such a situation. This is a very sad situation. There were problems with the product. Can you please empathize? I wanted to write to you before starting a process from A to Z. I think you will solve the situation immediately and refund my money. I wanted to contact you without filing a lawsuit for compensation for your store. I think this is an exception and a mistake. In this case, I expect a full refund. Kind regards.
Initially I politely ask for photo evidence because I honestly want to see a chunk of aluminum (should I say "aluminimum"?) burned down to nothing, but in every case the other side fails to deliver and continues with various threats.
Reported all to Amazon.

That is a common scam. They are hoping that you will simply refund with no return. DON'T DO IT. This is how we respond...
"To prevent scams on the Amazon site, send all communications by certified mail to our Legal Office".
Never received any letters, nor heard from the scammer again.
In addition, don't forget to report the communications as, "Buyer is trying to Deceive me".

You have already received some advice from @Seller_CW0P5hgbsiqWX so I just wanted to add that I would suggest directing them to proper Amazon returns or claims process whenever possible in these cases. We expect all buyers to follow proper returns procedures and claims processes.
