Unable to sell my own product, yet hijacker is selling it
I have been trying to list my product on the Canada marketplace, however I have been receiving various automated errors.
Some time back, my remote fulfillment inventory in Canada was not synched to my US inventory. I was told this was due to cross-border restrictions of my product. Since it is nothing more than a plastic bag, I had support look into it. They determined it complied with cross/border regulations and changed it to sellable.
However from there the listing image was automatically suppressed because there was a concern that my product packaging was in the image. There wasn't, so I sent another support ticket and they removed the image suppression, but the inventory was once again unsynched due to the automated error of cross-border restrictions.
So it seems I'm stuck in a loop. Also, I noticed a different seller hijacked my listing and is able to sell my product or possibly even a counterfeit product. I am curious how Amazon allows sellers to sell other's products, while not allowing the original seller to sell it.
Assuming Amazon will continue to automatically restrict and suppress my listing, should I just close my listing in Canada? Would this at least kick the hijacker off and eliminate the possibility of my listing getting bad reviews?

Unfortunately no. The seller will go on happily selling, now without any competition, and the listing can still garner reviews, good or bad.

It sounds like this is a private label product, is that correct? If you think the other seller is indeed selling a product that's infringing, you can report the infringement here. If it's a generic product, however, the other seller has a right to list under the PDP.

I see two issues.
You need to open a Case to have the inventory set back to sellable. Please do that, and if you are unsuccessful, then post that Case ID number here so I can take a closer look.
I see you are Administrator and Rights Owner in Amazon Brand Registry. Have you contacted brand support through your Brand Central account to inquire about removing the party that is listing against your ASIN in the Canadian store? If you do that and you are unsuccessful, then please post that Case ID number here, as well, so I can review the case.

I have reviewed, in detail, the cases you have opened regarding the issue with this product. From my review, I see that you are now being assisted by the appropriate team on an escalated basis through Case 13390687811.
It is possible, but I am not yet certain of resolution, but it is possible that the product type is incorrect and is may be causing the issues you are experiencing. The last update on your case was entered 12 hours ago, and I will check back on your case tomorrow morning.
