Starting out Business Extract Document

Can't seem to get going with Amazon Handmade. They are demanding a Business Registration Document. Companies House seem to be saying that's for Limited companies and I want to be a sole trader. Spoke to Handmade today and they say I must have this Business Registration Extract, However the help pages say I can be a sole trader. Help

Have you registered with HMRC as a sole trader?

Absolutely as above - if you are making or selling new goods you MUST be registered with HMRC as self-employed sole-trade. Can be done online, and then give Amazon your UTR for a BUSINESS seller account (NOT individual account).
