What we are boss,? we are just a self employed under Amazon, Amazon Can dismiss us at any time even for a penny reason.
Hi Adam,
Thank you for addressing the entrepreneurial journey and successes, but I want to highlight a major issue that many sellers face on this platform. Your statement, “celebrating our successes,” may resonate with some, but for the 95% of sellers struggling here, it feels disconnected from our reality. Many sellers feel trapped rather than empowered, controlled by Amazon's ever-changing policies, hidden charges, and unfair competition. You refer to us as "our own bosses," but it often feels like we are slaves in extreme captivity under your system.
Amazon's environment is tough for most sellers—high fees, arbitrary policy violations, and the constant threat of suspension. While your insiders like Cloudtail and Cocoblue operate freely, independent sellers face impossible odds. Your so-called support often feels like an agenda to profit from sellers rather than enabling their success.
To address your question on fulfillment: how can we find fulfillment when 37% to 118% of our selling price is taken by Amazon through various charges, fines, and other deductions? Even safety claims are often denied, and product theft within ATS and FBA warehouses is common. Instead of bringing ideas to life, many sellers feel exploited, drained of resources, and desperate.
If you genuinely care about the sellers on this platform, let's have an open dialogue. We're ready to provide point-by-point details about the challenges and the systemic issues we face daily. Feel free to reach out if you truly want to understand and address these concerns.
Looking forward to a fair discussion.
Thanks.
wow thats nice way to celebrate, i started my journey on amazon thinking same "I am my own boss" but its almost a year feeling like always pulled down by either amazon policy or by some fake returns or by comptitors who dont believe in themself and play games by wrong review, wrong orders .
This platform is very good but yes there are loopholes, which need to fill
also lets small seller grow, else they will quit
Journey so far..... High Fee, Hidden charges, instant refunds to customers, fake buyers, less sales and visibility, high competition.
