Tcs and gst data not matching

This issue is in regard to Merchant Tax Report amazon shares with merchant and data amazon supplies to GST portal. To our surprise not even a single month data is matching. Suppose we have sales according to Merchant Tax report of Rs.20lacs and TCS of approx 20000, but in GST portal amazon is showing sales of 21lac or 19lac and same with TCS.

Contacted customer support they said they dont know anything.

TCS filed will also contain reversal/credits for orders that were sold last month and returned to you or refunded for some reason. So it may not match.

Raise the credit note on the day you receive the return shipment. You won’t face any problems. Amazon raises your on CN on the day you receive return. So, if suppose you shipped a order on 23rd may, you will raise it’s invoice on 23rd itself. Now the customer requested for return on 30th may, you received the return parcel on 3rd june, then you will raise CN on 3rd june.
