"Disbursement attempted" Is this a new phrasing Amazon is using when sending payment?
Got the email notifying me of our biweekly payout but this is the first time it said "disbursement attempted", and the format of the email was different than prior notices, which never mentioned "attempted".
Aside from that, the rest of the email seems normal and like my payment was successfully processed and should be in my bank within 3-5 days, as is also normal.
My only concern is with the word "attempted" as if there was a problem.
All of my banking and credit card info is up to date, so there should be no problem there. I'm wondering if anyone else got this wording in a recent payout email?

Just in case, check your Credit Card on file if expiration date is not expired

I think it is. So I had to worry for three days what it meant but my payment went through.

i figured like so many big organizations, there's lots of teams and departments. some overwhelmed, some keenly away they need to justifying existing with "modifications" and "improvements". Like half the time i get a software update it strikes me as something close to nothing, yet different than the day before.

If we had 100 complaints about "Disbursement PAID" when it actually fails, we would change our wording also. What would be a better wording though?

Hi @Seller_ctlHhuYQK8UHO,
Steve from Amazon here, thanks for the post. I am checking in here to see if you are having an issue with not receiving this payment? If so, please let me know and I am happy to investigate further.
If there is no issue, but you have feedback on the process. I am happy to share that feedback with the team.
Thanks,
Steve

Another thing not broken "fixed" by Amazon.
Probably meant to be annoying like their yellow "warning account at risk of deactivation" nasty-gram headers that occasionally pop up due to a bad feedback or undeserved rating.

Right? We got the same and I was like, "attempted"? Did you do it or not? I think they're trying lay the ground for unlawful holding of funds. Aka, stealing your hard earned money.
