Keywords

Which is the most important of these for knowing where i must write the most relevant keywords to my listing. Tittle, Search terms, bullet points, description, subject matter. Is that the order or different?

Hello there and welcome to the New Seller Community!

I'm sure some others will chime in here, but wanted to provide you with this link to a short video in Seller University that captures the best practices for product detail pages including titles, images, bullet points, descriptions, and keywords.

Don't waste too much time on Keywords, and don't pay a service to generate them for you.

Keywords are not what they used to be 25 years ago. With over 600 million products sold on the site, what words do you think you can use that 5 million other sellers are not already using? None. But there is hope.

The Amazon browser runs much on Titles than keywords. A short 3-5 word title is worth its weight in gold. In fact, most of the titles on Amazon are spammed with way too many words and the seller selling the item can't even find their own product.

The only keywords we use are our competitor's brand name. I don't care where a person types in our competitors name, Amazon, Google, MSN, Foxfire, our name is either 2nd or 3rd line underneath. And... We don't pay a thing for it.
