I REFUSE to add credit card untill my unfair charges has been fixed.

My seller account is currently in a “Dormant” status, and it has been more than 48 hours since I updated my credit card details. I do not recall the last time my Seller Central account was active, but it was likely over a year ago. At that time, my account was functioning well—orders were being processed, payments were completed, and I was even able to manage a few unfair A-to-Z claims.

However, when my credit card expired, I received two orders before I could obtain a new one. Unfortunately, I was unable to take any action on these orders due to the following message:

"Invalid Charge Method

Your access to Seller Central is currently restricted due to an invalid charge method. Register a valid charge method for your seller account and restore full access to Seller Central by clicking 'Update Charge Method'."

Obtaining a new credit card is not instantaneous; it takes time due to the limits banks impose on issuing new cards within a calendar year. I have reached out to Amazon multiple times, requesting access to the incoming order details so I could either fulfill or cancel the orders to avoid further delays for the buyers. However, my requests have been met with silence—Amazon’s only response has been to prompt me to add a new credit card.

As a result, I have incurred penalties for unfulfilled orders and monthly seller fees, even though I have been unable to access the seller panel. I have also repeatedly contacted Amazon, requesting a change in my account status to individual to avoid these monthly charges, but nothing has been done.

To date, I have sent approximately 8-10 emails explaining my situation and requesting the cessation of these unfair fees, but to no avail. The accumulated fees in the USA, Canada, and Mexico have now reached a point where I refuse to pay.

I will not pay fees for services I have not used, nor will I add a new charge method until this “Invalid Charge Method” error is resolved, and the unfair fees are removed. I request a prompt and fair resolution to this issue, allowing me to update my charge method and continue selling without the burden of unjust charges.

Why were you not issued a new card when the old one expired? Was there a problem with your CC account?

Per the terms of signing up for the account, it is your responsibility to maintain a valid credit card. Those charges were because of your failure, not Amazon's. They won't remove the charges.

Hi @Seller_31LTsuPwSYPYI

Connor from Amazon here, thanks for reaching out.

I understand your frustration, however we are not able to bypass the credit card requirement, if you want to continue to use our platform you will need to address the charges first.

When you signed up for your seller account you agreed to terms outlined in Section 2 on this page.

I hope this helps,

-Connor
