Order Dispatch Date

Hi,

I'm hoping someone can help.

I have a 2 day dispatch date, so orders need to be sent within 2 days which has been fine.

The last few days, when i click orders which shows my list of orders, it has the order received date and dispatch date which is correct.

The weird thing is, if i click on one of the orders it is telling to dispatch within 1 working day and not 2, but it shows 2 days if i click orders.

Why is it asking to ship within 2 days which is in my settings but when you click on the order it is asking me to ship within 1 day.

Hello Collectable_Culture,

On 15th May Amazon helpfully changed many sellers over to Automatic Handling Time, where Amazon applies its opinion of your handling time (based on historic orders).

It is possible that your problems stem from this change, so you should check you AHT to ensure it reflects your opinion.

If it doesn't - to deactivate the automated handling time:

Go to your Shipping Settings tab in Seller Central.

Go to the General Shipping Settings section.

Click Edit in the Handling Time section.

Click the toggle to turn off automated handling time.

Click Save.

Hope this is a help

Brian

I have suddenly got a late shipment from this. They don't show as late shipping in orders but seem to in metrics. I have switched off the auto thingy now I know that is causing the issue. It is no good saying things are late after the event. There are obviously metrics going on in the background that keep moving the goalposts. I too have 2 day shipping but am having orders shipped the next day marked as late. Also apparently now sundays are classed as a working day towards the 2 days despatch. No idea what they are trying to achieve except make perfectly good accounts bad
