Do I need brand authorization letter even if I buy produtcs from wholesaler.
Hello everyone hope you all are good. I am new Amazon Seller and wanted to ask a few questions.
1. If I purchase items from a wholesaler then do I need brand authorization to sell those items on Amazon?
2. What to do if the wholesaler is saying he buys directly from the brand but is not providing any brand authorization letter?
I am still in the process to find wholesalers/distributors and am confused what to do! If I purchase some goods from a wholesaler but later on if Amazon asks from Brand Authorization Letter or permission to sell those products what do I need?
Can anyone please elaborate on this so confused.
Thank you.

Hi @ARQ_PROFESSIONAL_EME and Welcome to The Forums!
We are excited to have you here. Thanks for the post and hope you had a good weekend.
You need to use an authorized dealer who can provide you with an invoice that includes the following listed below:
• detailed list of products (at least 10 per item, Product name, model number or UPC that can be verified online)) ,
• terms of sale (net30/net60/cash..)
• must be by the brand itself or a brand authorized distributor (not a retail store for the general public)***
• a COMPLETED transaction ( order shipped),
• your full business name and address, as entered in seller central,
• suppliers full name and contact details, (e-mail, phone or both)
•should reflect the sales volume of your product across all Amazon marketplaces in the last 365 days
• should demonstrate your product’s full supply chain
Please note that if Amazon believes that a trademark is associated with a product that you are selling that is not approved by the brand for use in connection with that product, you may be asked to provide a Letter of Authorization from the relevant brand owner to show that you have permission to use their registered trademark.
There is also the New Seller group within the Seller Forums that provides a safe space for new Sellers to post any questions, interact with and learn from other Seller's threads, and meet and network with other new Sellers. If you haven’t already visited the group, you can access them by following the steps below:
