Merchant Shipping Group confussion

Hello Fellow sellers and Amazon team,

I just upgraded my account from individual to professional and after that when i am trying to edit one of my FBA listings, it is giving Merchant Shipping Group error.

Now i am not sure what to do as i have never filled this part earlier and do not have any idea about it. I am selecting the option from dropdown menu but it is still giving following error

Invalid enumerated value '"legacy-template-id"' for attribute 'merchant_shipping_group'.

any help or suggestion will be appreciated

Hopefully someone else will respond -- I do not use FBA.

However, for FBA listings, a shipping template is pointless as it won't be used.

But the listing would have to indicate FBA.

I have seen on the forums a handful of seller's experiencing this issue over the last few months. Have you by chance reached out to Selling Partner Support regarding this error message?

I have seen a few seller's escalate to support team for troubleshooting. When you create your case, please share with them as much information as possible such as:

  • ASIN affected by this issue
  • Error Message you are receiving
  • Steps you have tried to clear the message
  • Any relevant URLs
  • Screenshots that might help troubleshoot the message

Feel free to post the CASE ID in this discussion once you have contacted support so we can follow the case along to the conclusion. Looking forward to hearing from you soon. Hope you have a great rest of the week.
