Main User Account Temporarily Locked!

The main user of our account received a notification that their account has been temporarily locked when they tried to log in.

He called Amazon customer service and their suggestion was to create a new account. Not really an option as we will lose all our account history.

I have tried to contact seller support for him as my log in still works. They provided a link for him to contact customer services. Unfortunately, he needs to log in to contact customer services. We are going around in circles.

Has anyone had this problem before?

Why are they saying to contact customer services - that is for CUSTOMERS/BUYERS, not sellers ? - it is seller support for sellers, and the advice to open another account is SO, SO wrong, as both will be deactivated - DO NOT open another account whatever you do.

When you say main user of your account, is this a a secondary user with access to your seller account ?

This has happened to us aswell this week. They will not respond to the buyer appeals email the account is locked but the seller central account still active and selling items. The process is impossible and you go round and around with no-one seemingly able to give you a reply that makes any sense and zero service to assist. I am 16 days into the issue and have got no where. have set up a second account with the only way to get into the forum and contact seller services to at least try and get some sort of response.
