How to know the specific content of copyright infringement?
Amazon informed me that my listing was removed due to complaints regarding infringement. The issue summarized in the performance notification is called "Infringement type: Copyrighted text on the product detail page." However, the notification did not provide detailed information on the specific content that was infringing, whether it was images, text, or something else. This has left me stuck and unable to proceed, as I am unsure if I have actually infringed and what needs to be corrected. I tried to open a case and contact Amazon customer service, but they said, "Product complaint information is not shared with our team, so we cannot help you query the specific content." They suggested that I contact the account status specialist, but the specialist's phone couldn't be reached. How can I solve this problem? Does anyone have experience in this regard?

"Copyrighted text on the product detail page."
First, is it an ASIN that YOU created, or were you selling on one that was already on Amazon?
If you created it, did you do a copy and paste of product descriptions from a company website or brochure?

The next time you try to list this product, change EVERYTHING. New text, new images, new bullets.

It is a problem with the text.

Hello @Seller_R6TDkfQkzAR7Y,
Thank you for posting your concerns with a copyright complaint.
As you mentioned the original notice advised this was a Copyright Text issue. This would imply that some form of text within your listing is violating the rights owners copyright. You will need to research all aspects of your listing including any keywords to ensure that all information is your original work and not copied from any websites or other listings as mentioned by @Seller_kIukTwdhvntAp.
If you are the ASIN creator, you may be able to update and remove the copyright materials for eligibility of reactivation of the listing, other situations will require proof of non-infringement such as a letter of authorization, or license agreement with the rights owner to use their copyright materials.
As a final note, if you can 100% confirm and verify that there is no infringement, you can follow our process for submitting a DMCA counter notice. I always suggest working with external legal council to ensure that your product and ASIN do not infringe on the rights owner copyright.
You are welcome to continue our conversation here, however you can reach out to our account health support team by phone or case from the account health page in seller central. You can also see more information on this process on our help page. Please note that you must be a professional seller for this feature to be enabled.
The forums community and I are here to support you. Please let us know how we can help you from this point forward.

Hello @Seller_R6TDkfQkzAR7Y,
Thank you for following up on the topic.
When it comes to copyright and other intellectual properties, we recommend reviewing all aspects of your listing. When you created your listing, how did you find your product images? Does your images reference the works of another seller or rights owner? I would suggest reviewing our copyright: FAQ help page for more information on ensuring you are the rights owner or have permission to use images or text on your listing or product.
Typically, if you get in touch in the account health support team, you can request specific language support for a follow up call from the appropriate language support teams, follow up calls are normally conducted within 24 hours. If you still need language support, I would recommend attempting to reach them by phone to request more support.
A rights owner is not required to respond if they feel there is a valid misuse of their intellectual property or protected works. This path is offered in situations were a rights owner mistakenly issued a complaint, but you were previously authorized. This allows the rights owner to issue a retraction rather than you being required to dispute the situation with a counter notice, or listing updates.
If you are the ASIN creator for this product, you can also attempt to use an inventory file to help push some updates or remove information that would cause a copyright violation. you can see more on this by reviewing our help page on creating an inventory file. If you need more support on this process, I would ask that you create a case with our seller support teams, as they can provide more guidance based off the category since the template may changed per category.
Where I may not be able to offer specific intellectual property information, if you continue to have any additional questions or concerns I encourage you to follow up here for additional support or guidance that we can provide.
