New requirements for the sale of heat-not-burn devices - impossible task

In their infinite wisdom Amazon UK "have introduced some important changes in our internal policies regarding the listing of heat-not-burn devices". For those who may not know, this refers to devices which heat up materials such as CBD or medical cannabis, without combustion, which make ingestion far safer. Our company is recommended by several clinics and we take harm reduction seriously and have helped many people manage severe pain.

Anyway, Amazon have always told us to make clear that our products contain no nicotine and that we do not sell to under 18s, both of which we have been happy to comply with. However, the email I received a couple of days ago states that "any nicotine-free claims (e.g. “no nicotine”, "nicotine free", "without nicotine", “no tobacco”, "tobacco free", "without tobacco") displayed on the detail page of these products must be removed and replaced by a clear statement that “The product doesn’t contain sticks, prefilled cartridges or refills”, or that “the product doesn’t contain nicotine or tobacco sticks, prefilled cartridges or refills “."

Given that I have hundreds of listings, it would be an onerous enough task, but, in addition, I did not create all of the listings in the first place, so have absolutely no way of changing them. We all know that any suggested changes to someone else's listings will not be accepted. I was told, late on Tuesday night, that I have 15 days to make these changes; so my listings will be removed in 13 days!

Why on earth do Amazon insist on torturing us with stuff like this and how can I proceed? Many of the listings were created by sellers who are no longer on Amazon or no longer selling the products in question. I just feel like giving up sometimes, as Amazon continually puts impossible obstacles in our way. I am very stressed. Any help greatly appreciated. I cannot face asking Seller Support, as we all know that can cause ulcers.

Ironically, today's seller's poll was about Amazon giving plenty of notice about forthcoming changes - you couldn't make it up!
