Big Seller Hijacked My Generic Listing – Need Clarity & Support
Hi sellers,
I have a product listed under Generic (ASIN B0D3KP****). As per Amazon policy, no one should be able to map or add offers to another seller’s generic listing. Normally, it shows an error if anyone tries.
But now, a big seller – RK World Infocom Pvt Ltd – has successfully mapped onto my generic listing. This feels unfair, as small sellers like us are blocked from doing the same.
Is this allowed only for big sellers? If so, can Amazon clarify the process so all sellers can follow the same rules?
I request support from fellow sellers—please suggest how we can raise this issue to a higher level within Amazon for fair treatment to all sellers. If you’ve faced a similar issue, your input will be helpful.
Thanks.

Sorry if I'm wrong, but as I know, anyone can latch onto a generic item. This is why all marketplaces recommend that we sell with our own brand or with another brand's authorization.

Use GTIN Exemption to protect your listing and avoid such incident in future again. Generic Listing can be use by anyone
