Assistance Needed: US Amazon Seller Account Deactivated Due to Association with UAE Account

Dear Amazon Seller Community,

I am reaching out in hopes of gaining some insight into an issue I've recently encountered with my Amazon US seller account. It has been deactivated with a notice stating that it is related to an account. I suspect this may be connected to a mishap I had on the Amazon UAE marketplace where I accidentally apply an UAE seller account, which I had no intention of using, and it was almost immediately deactivated thereafter.

My question is: Could the deactivation of my US account be a result of the UAE account's deactivation? If so, how to formally close my UAE seller account to prevent future issues of this nature.

If there are any sellers who have faced similar situations or experts who understand how to navigate this process, your advice and guidance would be immensely appreciated.

Thank you all in advance for your time and assistance!

There might be a misunderstanding, as my US and UAE seller accounts are not separate entities but the same account operating in different marketplaces.

If anyone has experienced a similar situation or has expertise in resolving such matters, your guidance would be greatly appreciated. I am looking for the best course of action to take to resolve this issue with Amazon.

To answer simply, yes. The deactivation of your US account could be a direct result of the UAE account's deactivation.

Multiple selling accounts on Amazon

You may only maintain one Seller Central account for each region in which you sell unless you have a legitimate business need to open a second account and all of your accounts are in good standing. If any of your accounts are not in good standing, we may deactivate all of your selling accounts until all accounts are in good standing.

Examples of a legitimate business justification include:

  • You own multiple brands and maintain separate businesses for each
  • You manufacture products for two distinct and separate companies
  • You are recruited for an Amazon program that requires separate accounts

You will want to log into the UAE account and address the reasons for the original deactivation.

How to appeal an account deactivation

  1. In Seller Central, go to Performance and click Account Health.
  2. At the top of the Account Health page, click Reactivate your account.
  3. Follow the instructions within the page to submit your appeal. This can include submitting a questionnaire, acknowledging a violation, completing a quiz, or providing supporting documents.
  4. Click Submit to send your completed appeal to Amazon.

After submitting your appeal, monitor your email for a decision from Amazon. If you have received a response from Amazon for more information, click View Appeal from Account Health to submit additional documentation and information required in your next submission. Please expect a reply to your appeal within two days.

I hope my response is beneficial towards your business.
