Hello,

I am a local artisan selling handmade cotton pillow covers, cloth handbags, pouches and wall décor under the seller name Juvik’s Handmade. All my products are fully handcrafted, sold under the brand name “Generic”, and are GST-exempt as per government rules (turnover below ₹20 lakhs).

I have already:

• Set GST as “Not Applicable” under tax information
• Selected the “I sell in GST Exempted Category” checkbox
• Chosen Merchant Fulfilled (Easy Ship)
• Applied and obtained GTIN Exemption for Home & Kitchen

However, despite all this, my listings remain inactive with the error:

• “Product requires approval to sell” or
• “You need a valid GST ID to sell this product.”

When I try to request approval, I get a message saying Amazon is not accepting new applications for this category.

I believe this may be because Amazon automatically categorized my product under “Decorative Pillow Covers”, which appears to be a gated category.

Request:

• Either reclassify my listings under an appropriate non-gated category (like Pillowcase or Handmade Cushion Covers), or
• Whitelist my seller account to sell these handmade, exempt products without GST or brand restrictions

• B0FFSXNH7K (JH-KOL-1)
• B0FFSYFGGC (JH-KOL-2)

All listings are under “New” condition, with GTIN exemption, no brand, no barcode, and tax details marked correctly.

Looking forward to a resolution so I can continue listing and selling as a small handmade seller.
