FBA shipment changed from Amazon Partner to Non-partnered carrier
This is the second time that Seller Central changes our FBA shipment in progress from Amazon-Partner carrier to Non-partner, while we were awaiting for the pallet dimensions from our warehouse (FBA18C3CK3ML, FBA18C3DJBBN).
Non-partnered shipments take a lot more time to check-in at FBA and the cost is usually higher. It is not possible to change the carrier option once the box labels have been generated (who knows for what reason, the labels and data does not need to change it's only a pickup scheduling difference). Canceling the shipment and re-creating a new one with an Amazon-partner carrier is not an option since the boxes have been labeled and palletized already.
Case ID 15946558331 has been opened for the past 2 days and we still don't have an answer. At the same time Amazon wants us to keep a lean FBA inventory which requires prompt warehouse transfers. Our IPI and in-stock levels will be affected by these delays. Most important there are no communication on the part of Amazon about why these actions keep happening, just like for the units incorrectly marked as expired.
Why does Seller Central change the carrier option? Why can't the shipment be restored back to Amazon partner carrier??

Hi @Seller_ODGnET55Q6yM6,
Dominic from Amazon here, want to provide additional info here. Amazon cannot change the carrier after a shipment has been created. From my review of the case it looks like the shipment was confirmed with the non-partnered carrier information. This confirmation can only come from the seller. Once a shipment is confirmed we cannot change who the carrier is.
