We were encouraged by our SAS rep to create Brand Tailored Promotions.
However I have noticed that our Abandoned Cart Promo that is targeted to getting NEW customers is actually being sent to existing customers. When I created it, I selected market to New customers. I selected Brand cart abandoners- customers that haven’t added any products to their cart in 90 days and haven't purchased yet. When looking at the results, some redemptions were new customers, but many were existing customers that actually have purchased before within this 90 day period.
This would be a great Promo if we could actually target New customers.
(I am posting here for help because we cancelled the SAS service due to its ineffectiveness)

Thank you for posting about this issue with your Abandoned Cart Promo. Have you touched base with your SAS representative to see if they can explain why the promo was not offered to only new customers? I would also suggest that you reach out to the dedicated Advertising help line.
I will check back here over the next few days to see if there are any other reports that may indicate a wider spread problem. If you get any new information from your rep or the advertising help team, please post back here.
