New Placement fee = end of FBA
So, this is happening and sparked so many threads across the Forum, but just give an idea for non-US based seller. We're based in Ireland.
We already are told WHERE to send the package, so how in that scenario additional "placement fee" comes in, is beyond me.
Example:
12 small oversized units (3 products, 4 units each). Fits in one box. FBA Fulfillment fee per unit before changes $10.57
The new "Placement fee" for entire 12 unit shipment is $ 27.60 which is 2.30$ per unit. Essentially 20+% FBA fee increase.
(Not to mention Amazon does NOT have partnered shipment options for Ireland at all).
Way to go Amazon!

Greed knows no bounds. Here is where it falls apart. One little piggy says I can increase our profits 25% by forcing them to send in way too much inventory then we will also create a new fee for sending in items. ha ha ha my piggy belly will be full. But then we all decide it just doesn't make sense any more and where I had provided a few thousand in fees each year to Amazon now I will choose not to participate in FBA and you get zero fees.
Smart little piggies now get no food. Sad little piggies won't get extra bonuses.
