5665 error after closing my 5 year old listing
Dear Amazon Sellers
I’m reaching out for assistance regarding a long-standing issue that I’ve been unable to resolve despite multiple attempts.
I have been selling a specific product on Amazon for over five years. Recently, I ran out of stock and closed the listing. The product is not brand-registered - When I created the listing, it was incorrectly listed as “Brandname Music” instead of just “Brandname.”
Since then, I’ve taken the following steps to correct the issue:
Deleted the old listing
Attempted to re-upload using flat files
Submitted multiple support cases
Provided clear product photos showing the packaging, brand name, and logo
Unfortunately, each time I’m told to submit an appeal. However, these appeals continue to be rejected, likely because the original listing’s brand name does not exactly match the logo on the product.
I’m stuck in a loop where support keeps referring me to the appeal process, but that process isn’t resolving the root issue. I genuinely need someone to take a closer look at the situation and provide a clear path forward.
Please advise on how I can relist this product under the correct brand name, and if any further documentation or steps are required, I’d be happy to provide them. I am very worried now because I have 600 stranded units which will be disposed.
Thank you for your time and support.
