Send your products to the locations that Amazon designates for your shipping plan. This ensures that your inventory is placed closer to customers and reduces the order delivery time for your products.

Not shipping your products as stated in your approved shipping plan (for example, by canceling part of an approved shipping plan, misrouting a shipment, or sending an incomplete shipment) is not permitted. It leads to additional processing and handling that can delay receipt of your inventory and its availability for sale. This may also result in blocking of your shipment creation abilities.

Amazon does offer a "FBA Inventory Placement Service" for a FEE per unit - it ends in March 2024

Hi @Seller_2eiz66bCc4iZj,

Thank you for reaching out on the seller forums!

So happy to see that @Seller_AXC06kcsKI1qGjumped in to provide you with the correct answer here. Thank you so much for your help, SUNDANCE_!

They are correct, once you approve a shipping plan, you are required to ship your products to Amazon as stated in that plan, including sending the stated quantity of each product in that plan to the assigned Amazon facility.

In addition to the resource SUNDANCE_ provided, I would encourage you to read the following help pages for more information as well:

I hope this helps! If you have any additional questions about the shipping process, please let me know.

All the best,

Jameson
