HOW DO YOU COUNTERFEIT A BOOK?????

I put a common cookbook up on Amazon for sale. It read sell yours here. There are a lot of other people selling the same book on the same post as new or used. They used my book as example and said I counterfitted the book and gave me a very bad rating and now my performance is down under from 1,000 to 200 over that one item. I removed the book which I put up for sale a long long time ago. We have no late shipments no bad feedback and try to offer the lowest and best prices. They want me to produce a sales invoice when a lot of my books are purchased in bulk. I cannot win for losing. I complained but it did no good. How the heck do you counterfeit a book?

Pretty much the same way you make one in the first place. Generally using photo reproduction (not actual typesetting), often lower quality paper, and cheaper bindings.

I seriously doubt that anyone would counterfeit a popular cookbook (they're worth too little to begin with), but I'm surprised that you've never encountered a counterfeit textbook or technical book; I've seen dozens, and that's just the ones that I could identify. Wouldn't surprise me if I missed one or two.

But your situation is different. Sounds like you've been framed. Like I say, counterfeits exist, but not on this type of book.

Best of luck getting things resolved and back to normal. And if interested, Google "stop counterfeit textbooks" to learn how to spot the actual fakes.

I see that you are facing issues with a counterfeit complaint for a cookbook that you listed for sale. Can you share exactly which type of violation you have received, so that we can guide you the best? example: suspected/received intellectual property or product authenticity complaint. Typically, when a possible counterfeit complaint comes in, you will be asked to provide proof that the item is authentic (invoices, letter of authorization from the brand/manufacturer, or a licensing agreement). The documents that you submit must meet our document requirements.

I want to ensure you are provided with the best support possible. For this, I am going to forward your information to the Account Health Support team. Please ensure your contact information is up-to-date as they may reach out.

I look forward to learning more, so that we can provide the best guidance. Please feel free to respond in this thread with further questions and updates. The Forums community and I are here to support you.

Wishing you the best,

LeviDylan
