Known Amazon Scammer Made Purchase - What To Do?
Hi there,
I recently received an order from a seller with an address that looked suspicious. It had multiple letters: NSDFGHGSMH and then a commercial address. When I looked up the address, Google showed me about 10 different websites with people claiming he is a notable Amazon and eBay scammer and will say he doesn't not receive the product. 100's of reviews on this same customer including a link to his Amazon storefront.
What do I do here? He purchased a big quantity of an expensive ASIN that I sell and I want to be protected as an Amazon seller in the event he tries the same with me?
Do I:
(1) Cancel his order
(2) Send his order with signature confirmation
(3) Anything else?

Most likely you have googled your way to a freight forwarder and those always have lots of bad reports, deserved or not.
You can cancel and take the hit to your metrics. And they can just order again.
Use Signature if you wish, and/or use Amazon buy-shipping.

You can certainly cancel the order if you wish, but you run the risk of the buyer ordering again. And again.
Send the order with signature confirmation and use Amazon Buy Shipping to protect yourself against an INR. Make sure you ship on time and the order receives the all-important carrier in possession scan.

Hi @Seller_ZVqfanzd6bzdk,
In addition to the preventative measures and advice given by @Seller_Hi7wbO2Kbo6bl and @Seller_LImVvUWeyiCfQ, I would be sure to report any suspicious activity through the Report Abuse link your Account Health page.
You can utilize that link to present evidence of any suspected abusive activity you may experience.
