Eligiblity for Transparency program?
Hi everyone,
I’m reaching out to get some clarity on my eligibility for the Amazon Transparency program in the U.S. marketplace based on my current situation:
Business Location: My company is registered in Canada.
Selling Platform: I am actively selling products on the U.S. marketplace.
Trademark Status: I currently hold a registered trademark in the U.K. and have completed the Amazon Brand Registry process using this trademark. However, my U.S. trademark application is still pending.
I’m trying to understand if, under these conditions, I would be eligible to apply for the Transparency program for my products sold in the U.S. Additionally, I noticed that when selecting the country during the process, I couldn’t find Canada as an option.
Has anyone encountered a similar situation or know how I should proceed? I’d really appreciate any guidance or advice you can share.

My name is Sandy from the Community Manager team.
The eligibility criteria for Transparency is below.
- Be enrolled in Amazon Brand Registry. (With Rights Owner role)
- Have a government-registered trademark. If you need help obtaining a registered trademark, click here.
- Have a Global Trade Item Number (GTIN) for your product, such as a UPC, ISBN, or EAN.
Transparency is currently available in the US, Canada, Germany, France, Italy, Spain, the UK, Australia, India, and Japan.
With the eligibility guidelines, since your US trademark is still pending, Transparency is only available to those with registered trademarks. Since you mentioned your UK trademark is registered, and if you meet all the eligibility requirements you could start with UK.
