FNSKU on barcode

I am re-listing a product with the same ASIN/UPC code and yet my barcode FNSKU changed? Why is this? I thought I could give manufacturer same barcode label. Thank god I saw that it was different BEFORE I shipped my product to Amazon!!

If you change the SKU you use for the listing, then the FNSKU will change.

Hello @Seller_F68v7s55WcB6X,

Michelle at Amazon here. As @Seller_f4a7xAPCCSMqD stated, a new SKU creates a new FNSKU. Each FNSKU has it's own unique barcode, so you would have to relabel your items if they have the old FNSKU on them. Your other option would be to send in under your original SKU.

Let me know if you have any other questions.

Regards,

Michelle
