can i open second account
π Hello Seller Community,
I hope you're all doing well.
I'm looking for expert guidance on my current seller situation and future steps. Please see the details below:
β My Current Setup:
I have an Individual Seller Account registered in the UAE, using my personal documents.
Later, I added the USA marketplace to this same account using the "Sell Globally" feature.
So now I technically have access to both UAE & USA marketplaces under one global account.
π My New Development:
Iβve recently registered a USA-based LLC, with a new legal name, EIN, phone number, address, and bank account.
I would like to launch a private label brand under this LLC, exclusively targeting the USA marketplace β with a professional brand image, Amazon Brand Registry, and full compliance.
---
β My Questions:
1. Since I already added the USA marketplace under my UAE individual account,
β€ Will it be a policy violation if I now open a new USA Amazon account using my LLC info?
2. What is the best and safest approach?
β Should I upgrade my current account from Individual to Business and update it with my LLC details?
OR
β Should I create a separate Amazon USA account using a different browser, email, bank, IP, and inform Amazon that it's a different legal entity?
3. Iβm concerned about Linked Account Suspension, and I want to stay 100% within Amazon's policies.
---
π My Goal:
To build a serious private label business under my LLC with proper brand protection, A+ content, and long-term scalability β while keeping my individual UAE account separate or unused.
---
π Request:
If anyone from the seller community β or an Amazon moderator β can share:
Best practices
Potential risks
Your experience or Amazon policy references
π It would mean a lot!
Thank you so much for your time and support.
Best regards,

yes, you can open another account that belongs to your brand. You can NEVER sell the same product type on more than 1 account. There must be a valid reason for another account (such as a different brand). The accounts can never interact in any way shape or form and if one gets suspended, all will be suspended. You will need separate e-mail addresses and possibly banking information

Hi there @Seller_37xf7rHBosiZ6
My name is CR and wanted to pop in and provide some additional resources above what fellow community member, @Seller_4zBzdtgCyS9EIagain provides above - thank you as always! From Selling policies and seller code of conduct:
Multiple selling accounts on Amazon
You may only maintain one Seller Central account for each region in which you sell unless you have a legitimate business need to open a second account and all of your accounts are in good standing. If any of your accounts are not in good standing, we may deactivate all of your selling accounts until all accounts are in good standing.
Examples of a legitimate business justification include:
- You own multiple brands and maintain separate businesses for each
- You manufacture products for two distinct and separate companies
- You are recruited for an Amazon program that requires separate accounts
This video from Seller University also goes over how to comply with Amazon's Multiple Account Policy.
