Being Signed Out of Seller Central Several Times a Day

Is anyone else experiencing this? For the past several days, Seller Central keeps signing me out if I'm idle too long. To make things worse, it will not allow me to opt out of 2-Step OTP. It happens to me on Firefox, Chrome and Edge and with my VPN on and off.

It's annoying, and odd. On one of my computers, I can stay signed in without needing OTP for several days at a time (even with shutting the computer down at night). The other computer usually requires it if not used for a couple of hours. Makes no sense. Both computers running same version of Windows and Chrome.

At least I've gotten in the habit of taking my phone with me to computer two (in the packing/shipping area) when I'm packing shipments; now I just have to get in the habit of not leaving it there!

Hello @Seller_bZd1cBXZ1lXGu,

Thank you for posting into Forums.

Are you having issues with your OTP verification? If so, please fill out this form. Our team will respond as soon as possible. Please also open a seller support case and post the case ID in this thread.

Here are some additional resources on two-step verification:

This also may be an issue with you VPN or other external variables outside of Amazon. Please check your security credentials as well.

Let me know if you still need assistance.

Cheers,

Micah

Problem Solved (Apparently).

It seems the root of the problem was that I was using a Windows Passkey to login rather than my Amazon password. I am still being signed out every time I close my browser, but at least I'm able to remain logged in throughout my workday. (The Passkey is the Windows tool that allows you to sign in using your device login, face recognition or fingerprint)
