Featured offer
I am really starting to think that during this time of the year amazon shuts down sellers accounts for featured offer for sellers that are not "in their club" or maybe top 1 % because this is several years in a row now that we sell Millions of inventory per year on here and are always within the proper metrics and have called into amazon they even said they cannot see anything with our account metrics that would cause us to be not eligible for buybox/featured offer but yet again we are out of nowhere not eligible for featured offer. There is no good reason we are not eligible and it's hurting our sales. Amazon needs to investigate why there is so many of us sellers saying the same thing that we are not featured offer eligible out of nowhere every year around this time with a very healthy account and metrics.

Not sure that is true. We sell over 85,000 different products and pay no attention to the featured offer buy box. It comes and goes daily over the products. We do focus on having the lowest offering price.

The same issue is plaguing our account at this time.
All of the sudden (account in good health, all metrics great)
FOE dropped from 95% down to 16% in one day.
Contacted seller support for a FOE review, all listings came back on(Technical team themselves indicated we were eligible for FOE "YES"). Then after 24 hours, all listings back to FOE "NO"
There is definitely something going on here.

Featured Offer eligibility is based on a variety of factors that can affect the customer experience. These factors are evaluated for all sellers, even if you are the only seller. Below are a couple of examples:
- Type of selling plan: If you are fulfilling orders yourself, you must have a Professional Selling Plan.
- Metrics: Your Order Defect Rate, Cancellation Rate, and Late Shipment Rate are metrics that help determine eligibility—the better you perform, the higher your chances are of becoming Featured Offer eligible. You can see how you're doing on the Account Health page.

- Offer faster shipping and free shipping (Note: Products with faster estimated delivery times are also more likely to be the featured offers on product detail pages)

- Keep stock available.

- First, check eligibility
- Then, in Seller Central, go to your Manage Inventory page and then click Preferences
- Select Featured Offer (Buy Box) Eligible, and at the bottom of the page, click Save Changes
- The Featured Offer (Buy Box) Eligible column will display the status for each of your ASINs
How can I drive sales without the Featured Offer?
- Use high resolution images with clear detail.
- Include key features with benefits listed in your bullet points.
- Make sure your product is classified in the right category for easier discovery through browsing.
- Research the competition as you develop a compelling price point.
- Follow up each order with great customer service.
- Offer free shipping, which can encourage buyers come back to Amazon.
