Why does an item have at least three different item sizes in different pages?

Items are measured for a standard parcel size when they are in stock and displayed on the Manage Inventory edit page.

When the item is displayed on the search page it shows a different odd package size that is clearly wrong.

And when I was ready to create the shipment to go to the Amazon warehouse, it was not a standard shipment as shown on my edit page as well as the FBA fee, but a large item.

There are items being dispatched separately to the warehouse for larger items, even though the items have been spread out into several delivery locations by the current shipping process.

When I resubmitted the request to measure the item the dimensions came back normal, but they are still being sent to the large item warehouse according to the wrong dimensions shows on the search page.

Every re-measurement came back with the same dimensions, so I don't know if they did the measurements.

You can only take two measurements every 60 days of the same asin, but it's still wrong. I don't know what genius came up with that rule, and it's directly making Amazon's logistics department charging two more months of erroneous storage and delivery fees.

Then there's the fact that after submitting the item for measurement, he fed back that he didn't find the wrong size and didn't need to be compensated, but it had been sneakily changed back to the normal size in the Manage Inventory as well as on the item information page, which means no compensation is needed.
