Amazon account reserve is getting longer and longer :)

I have received this mail recently and one of my active listing goes inactive and required approval. Dear Seller, Your sales proceeds will be delayed while we are reviewing your account. Starting today, the reserve period for all of your orders will be 14 days after the delivery date. For example, if you ship an item on January 1, and the actual delivery date is January 4, then the sales proceeds will be available for disbursement starting on January 19. Please continue to ship your orders and only list items that you can ship by the expected ship date. You can learn more about payment policies (https://sellercentral.amazon.com/help/hub/reference/external/G69122?locale=en-US) Why is this happening? Your reserve period is determined based on an assessment of your overall risk and historical performance. Our policy regarding Selling Policies and Seller Code of Conduct can be found at https://sellercentral.amazon.com/gp/help/G1801. How do I expedite the review of my account to revert this change? Pls help. :)

Hello @Seller_MoTqoMDLYJ6bm

Thank you for posting your inquiry to the Forums.

I understand that your funds are in reserve as your account is under review. Please note that it is a normal part of selling on Amazon to see funds in the Account level reserve section of the Statement View tab on your Payments report. It’s the amount of money that is reserved to ensure that you have enough funds to fulfill any financial obligations, such as refunds, claims, or chargebacks.

This help page provides additional information regarding account level reserves.

Please also ensure that you have a valid credit card on file and up to date bank account information to mitigate delayed payments.

Let me know if you need additional assistance.

Regards,

Quincy_Amazon

Wouldn't it be great to use someone else's money, not pay them interest for using it, and not repay it as agreed completely at your discretion and the rightful owner of the money has no recourse.

Welcome to selling on Amazon.
