Suspected Intellectual Property Violations (Sony Playstation page banned & Sold by Amazon Renewed page OK)
I got hit with 10 Suspected Intellectual Property Violations today, which brings my recent total to almost 75. Selling on Amazon since 2009, the 2022/2023 years have given our account the most violations.
We had listed a video game, Armored Core 2 : Another Age Occasion for Playstation 2 (B00007ELAZ) & received a Suspected Intellectual Property Violation for Trademark misuse (Playstation). The page has been removed due to this violation.
Meanwhile Amazon Renewed (B08696T2YN), (B00005MNRZ) and a Japan version (B00005OVUR).
99% of the 75 pages being deleted are for Trademark misuse and there are no other pages available. I am constantly moving these items to other platforms.

I believe you have found the solution. Amazon is transforming itself more and more.
I suspect that down the line a year (or three) you will find ZERO used items on the site.
Continue doing what you said --"I am constantly moving these items to other platforms. "

I feel your pain. I take photos at concerts and make them into products and apparently using a band's name, such as Five Finger Death Punch or In This Moment, is trademark text misuse. I recently started selling on Amazon and I am quickly regretting it. Every other day I have a Suspected Intellectual Property Violation. In the last month and a half since I started selling I have had almost 40 violations and all of them are Intellectual Property Violations. Amazon needs new AI since the photos are my property and if I don't put the band's name I am misleading customers. It's a lose lose situation.

We got hit with 25 yesterday for Sony; same with you we deleted them and moved them. I think Amazon does not want the long tail items in their catalog anymore; based upon the number of older products they have removed this has to be a purposeful strategic shift. I do not agree with it, but I am just a passenger on the river.
As for the Renewed, there appears to be a double standard for them; most Renewed listings do not appear to be subject to the bots. I have gotten a brand new factory sealed video game taken down for High Price violation but a used renewed copy selling at a higher price is OK.

Amazon is NOT the place to learn the "hard way" since we only get ONE account for life.
I try hard to stay away from popular trademark names. I cannot afford to lose my account and/or be sued.
This is one way that some "newbies" start out and end up with their accounts deactivated.

I've been selling on here since 2010, Its been declining for years and the "one account for life" thing doesn't really matter as much as it used to.
I have a niche and unlikely to switch to another product line/sales method if my niche dries up.

I agree with the other comments; Amazon is continuously eliminating used item via IP violations. Every time they ask me for "invoices" for used media brands, I scratch my head. It would be interesting to hear their long-term plans for these type of products. I suspect it is a strategy for competing with other online sellers for new products, but I know many buyers who are moving back to other platforms to buy use products -- and buying new products while they are there....

This is normal with Sony, they stopped auto-allowing new accounts into alot of their categories, then blocked some pre-existing sellers that were under x sales/month from selling, AFAIK they blocked the consoles for everyone but those that have actual approval... So now that they're clearing out old listing, it's not surprising.
Some brands are getting very aggressive with this, if you list something Panasonic branded, prepare to get banned, they're even going after products from the 1970's that have no competition to anything they currently produce lol

We recently had problems with this as well. with several older playstation 1 Japanese import games. However concerning the restriction on your item can you give more details about it, we also sell playstation 2 games however we are not aware of a game called armored core 2 another age occasion. Was it a PAL import, a special edition of some kind? It could be that Amazon (Amazon bots) restricted your item since they believed the product already existed under a different format.
