Request Button For Reviews

I’ve spent the last couple of hours trying to find out if Amazon sends a request review to every customer who made an order. I know there’s a “request review” button. My concern is that if I initiate a request by using the “request review” button the customer would end up with two requests, one from Amazon and the other from me.

I suspect two request could be annoying.

I can’t find anything anywhere to confirm what happens.

I can’t say we’ve ever bothered clicking it ourselves, we still get reviews so I assume Amazon send something out, don’t think they send for every order though.
