seperate child asins

Hello!

How to safely seperate all child asins from the parent asin? I'am a little afraid delete parent asin because when I click 'delete'' I get warning from amazon that: ''Deleting a variation family also permanently deletes the associated child variations.''.

What should I do?

Thank you in advance

I don't know where you're seeing that notice but I delete the parent SKU... I think a message does pop up that looks a little scary but it will in fact separate your children into orphans and they can be regrouped or left as is.

Hello @Seller_FIouPjohJfeUz,

Thanks for posting to the Forums. To eliminate the relationship between a parent and child ASIN, you can delete either the parent or child product SKU. After the original relationship is removed, you can re-assign the child item to a new parent item by entering that parent item's SKU in the child item's parent-sku field.

For more information about deleting relationships between products, see Special consideration section under Modify your inventory file.

Regards,

- Manny
