Change in Deliver by date after the fact?!?

I have been imprisoned due to a late delivery violation. I have sat quietly in Amazon jail for the past 2 weeks while I have not been buy box eligible. I know I took a chance on a different carrier (before the threat of bad weather) because I knew I couldn't make it to UPS in time, so I used USPS and bought postage outside of the Buy Shipping program. I knew I was rolling the dice. I took a chance and lost.

For the last 2 weeks I have been sitting quietly by and having very few sales.

The original deliver by date according to the order was 10/9/24. That date has now fallen off my 14-day time frame On-Time Delivery window. However, my on-time delivery percentage has not changed (it actually never went below 90%). It is still at 96.15%. The date range of 10/10 - 10/23 should be 100%. When I ran the report to see what order was messing with my number, the same order is listed. And it now has a ship by date of 10/10/24.

Why/How in the world did this date change? The order page still says deliver by 10/9. It was delivered 10/11 (It was sent to a questionable area possibly affected by one of the hurricanes.) So, this means I spend another day in jail. How did that number change?

Thank you for the information provided regarding the issues you have seen with the delivery dates and report for on-time delivery rate. I understand you observed the ship by date change from 10/9 to 10/10. Did you ensure that this wasn't related to the specific time the order was expected to be delivered? For example, the date can be listed as 10/9 11:59:59 and have the 10/10 6:59:59 attached to it. This is to account for the time difference but will represent the same time.

We always recommend referring to the earlier date for reference. Any orders that were to be received after the listed time and date would be considered to have missed the deadline. If this is not what your situation is, we encourage you to share more details. Have you seen the metric refresh itself and show the updated rate?

Please continue to refer to this thread with any future questions or updates that you receive on this situation.

Best,

Atlas
