Amazon Brazil

Why does Amazon brazil not appear as an option in global selling. It says its meant to appear under Americas and it doesn't.

I keep going to support and they have no answers at all.

I try and go directly to the brazil URL and it logs me straight back into the US and I can't set up a new account for Brazil because it says I am already a registered seller.

I have been going around in circles with no assistance from amazon at all and im tearing my hair out

Brazil is being added to all accounts selling on the .com site (the so called "North America Unified Account"). Since this is being done automatically with no input from the seller, it's possible that it cannot be done manually (just a guess).

I strongly suspect that if you wait, you'll have Brazil added to your account in the very near future, whether you want it or not.

For us, in 15 years, Brazilian sales have been a total pain in the neck. Between theft, slow delivery, and language problems, they are way more trouble than they are worth.

We do not want to sell in Brazil, and we don't appreciate Amazon making that decision without consulting us, its "valued partner." Yes, I have put Brazil on vacation mode, but no, I don't like getting emails from Amazon in Portuguese. (English-language Amazon emails are hard enough to understand.)
