I can't re-add deleted products
Hi, I am extremely new to listing products on Amazon and having some issues. I started adding products under my own brand with variations. I needed to make changes to the names of the variations and couldn't figure out how to do that for the life of me, so I deleted the listings and started over. Now when I go to add them back with the same UPC, I get the message :
"Brand Authorization Required: The ability to create or edit ASINs using this brand name is restricted to authorized sellers. You need to apply for approval to add or modify products for this brand."
I have contacted support and in short, their reply was:
"After further investigation, we have identified existing ASINs that are potential matches for the products you are trying to list and also we found that the ASINs for the requested brand “Norseman Supply Company” already exists on catalog with different products."
I can't see the products anywhere but apparently they still exist somewhere in the system? I have even done a search for the UPC and it doesn't come up with anything. Any help would be appreciated.

That happens if you create a listing using a UPC code that you used before for a now deleted listing.
You have to take a NEW UPC from GS1 each time you create a listing.

Greetings @Seller_f5Hvw445hzRaP,
I'm sorry you have been having this issue with your listings. You should not have to use a new UPC to update and edit these listings. What @Seller_rI7BZIczK8iAC may mean is that the ASIN ( and by association the UPC)cannot be changed into a materially different product. I'd like to escalate this issue to see what options we can offer to resolve this issue if you are the Brand Owner. Can you please reply with your most recent Seller Support Case on this issue for review? In some instances product details will not be able to be changed, however in most instances you should be able to change Variations with an upload.
Once you provide your most recent Case ID I will see what options I can provide.
