Returns issue
Hello everyone. I actually sell through FBA, well mostly with the exception of books.
So I don't fulfill many orders myself, therefore unfamiliar with returns process and related issues. Now my buyer wants to return and this is my first ever returns request in several years.
This buyer is actually not honest saying that the unit is not as described. She knows it and I know it and even Amazon will know it if and when it comes to that.
Can I request for my returns label charges back?
What is the process please.
That said the returns was requested and authorised only today. I am guessing that I will have to wait?
Many thanks in advance.

so assuming a label has been supplied through the prepaid return label system, then you will be charged for the label when it is scanned and the customer will get a full refund.
When the item is returned if you have proof the customer has used a false return reason, you can open up a safe t claim to get a refund of the label costs. You would normally need to supply images as well as an image of the packaging with the return label on.
I would advise reading up on FBM returns as well in seller university.

I am very upset, I did a good thing by issuing refund the minute I received and checked parcel. When I opened a safe t claim, it says "
This order is not eligible for a SAFE-T claim because you have issued a refund to the customer. Only refunds issued to customers by Amazon, on behalf of sellers, are eligible for reimbursement.
"
I wish I knew that I shouldn't have refunded in-order to be eligible for the claim.
I wanted to avoid an a - z. I thought the procedurally right thing was to give refund and claim back my postage back.
There was no option to deduct postage.
So this is for those who don't know about safe-t claim please don't issue refund, wait for amazon to issue refund in order to raise a claim but actually you are eligible for refund of postage. I just don't know how we can claim this, you cannot deduct from original price. If you don't issue refund, the customer would open a-z against you. So I have absolutely no clue how to claim postage back for a transaction that was not due to your fault.
