"Wasting Food and Money: A Concern for Amazon Sellers

As a seller on Amazon, I recently had a disappointing experience. A customer rejected my perishable food product (ready-to-cook multipurpose gravy paste) after I took extra precautions to ensure it remained cool during shipping.

This raises two concerns:

1. *Perishable goods and COD*: Shouldn't Amazon reconsider allowing COD for perishable items to minimize food wastage?

2. *Financial burden on sellers*: Why should sellers bear the costs of shipping and return charges for rejected perishable items?

3. From Amazon i am getting OTP and delivery boy mobile number but still we didn't the return parcle to my place.

"Amazon is returning a package you ordered ID 406-6830298-3321949, tracking number 514521580069, product GRAVY STORIES Ready To Cook Tomato Onion Masala Multipurpose Base Gravy, because it was rejected; the delivery associate will return an OTP ***** on a handheld device, which is valid until 04-02-2025."

I urge Amazon to reconsider its policies to support sellers and reduce food waste and easy shipping PPL comes late.
