Upic insurance with buy shipping
it seems that amazon is misrepresenting our insurance options through buy shipping. Specifically USPS packages, on the order page, they all indicate “Declared Value: $ insured by USPS / U-PIC”
But UPIC says that amazon removed them without notice to either of us, Upic or seller.
Why would you display “insured by” when its just the crappy postal insurance NOT UPIC. Please update this as it’s false advertising of insurance/product specification. These packages are NOT insured. If it’s delivered and not received there is no coverage therefore it is NOT insurance. In certain states, this is not okay.

How is this misrepresented? I am not sure how it even applies since the USPS insurance covers up to $100 for accidental loss or damage,

@KJ_Amazon would appreciate your input or of other relevant community managers. Upic insurance is not being provided despite the link indicating it is. Upic says they were removed unceremoniously thus need clarification.. Thanks!
ie, if need insurance for $50, does $150 need to be entered? insurance context is much clearer through veeqo not within sellercentral.

Hello @Seller_pdveCfpLbwIV0
Information about USPS package insurance via U-PIC can be found in our help page:
Optional coverage for loss or damage
"For Express Mail and Priority Mail, USPS automatically provides $100 of insurance, at no additional charge. However, when you buy shipping services from USPS, you can also buy up to $5,000 insurance through U-PIC for shipping methods that do not have USPS insurance built in."
Are you looking to bypass this first $100 of included insurance and solely purchase coverage through U-PIC? If so, please file a support case with more details about your questions and the orders for which you are looking to purchase extra insurance.
