With Prime Day coming, you could be eligible to run A/B tests on Manage Your Experiments

With Prime Day just around the corner, many brand owners are upgrading their listing page using the Manage Your Experiments tool.

Brand owners enrolled in Amazon Brand Registry enjoy greater control over their product detail pages. But it can still be challenging to decide which listing, and what type of detail page content, will drive the most sales. This is why experimenting with your listing is important, and where Manage Your Experiments (MYE) can help. Using MYE could increase sales by up to 25% (based on observations from experiments created by sellers).

What is Manage Your Experiments?

MYE lets you run A/B tests (also known as split tests) on your product title, main images, bullet points, product description, and A+ Content. A/B tests let you compare two versions of content against each other so you can see which performs better. At the end of an experiment, you can review which version performed the best and then publish the winning content. By running experiments, you can learn how to build better content that appeals to your customers and helps drive more sales. Watch the video to learn more.

What are the eligibility requirements?

The two criteria for tool eligibility include...

1. Brand eligibility: To run experiments, you must own a brand and be registered with Amazon Brand Registry. Please see the eligibility requirements to get started with Brand Registry.

2. ASIN eligibility: An ASIN is eligible if it belongs to your brand and has received enough traffic in the last month to be eligible for experimentation. Depending on the category, high-traffic ASINs may get several dozen orders per week, or more (perfect time to check with Prime Day approaching). When selecting an ASIN(s) to experiment on, MYE will show the eligibility status of the ASINs. We only allow experiments with high-traffic ASINs to increase the likelihood that you can confidently determine a winner at the end of the experiment.

What if the ASIN(s) is not eligible?

If an ASIN isn’t eligible due to low-traffic, consider driving more traffic to it using advertising or other means. A+ experiments must have published A+ content to be eligible. Please note that only one experiment can be run on any particular ASIN at a time.

If you only have few ASIN(s) eligible to run MYE tests before Prime Day, try applying the learning to the rest of your catalogue and continue running experiments to uncover more insights.
