This product has been identified as a corrective lens or prescription eyeglasses
Recently multiple sunglass and goggle products I sell were flagged as prescription eyeglasses with the following violation:
This product has been identified as a corrective lens or prescription eyeglasses, which is a prescription use only medical device. Amazon policy prohibits the sale or listing of prescription lenses and glasses. For more information, please see our Medical Devices and Accessories Help Page (https://sellercentral.amazon.com/gp/help/external/help.html?itemID=200164650&language=en-US&ref=efph_200164650_cont_200164330) and the following FDA guidance: [FDA link that I had to remove to post this] To be considered for reinstatement, please remove all unapproved prescription claims and prescription options from the product detail page.
The listings were deactivated so there is no product detail page. I went through all of the product information in the edit listing page and could not find any claims of prescription and neither could the customer service rep helping me. The customer service rep told me to appeal the violations and state that there was no claim of prescription and that they were removed in error.
Amazon denied all of the appeals and so I called asking what they needed. They told me to contact the FDA or the manufacturer to get documents to show that these sunglasses are not prescription. After contacting both places they claim that these types of documents do not exist.
Can anyone help me on how to navigate this?

Hello @Seller_GvPL8pF78K243,
Thank you for posting here on the Forums.
I see that you have received restricted product policy violations specifically for prescription eyeglasses and you have questions about how to get this resolved successfully.
So that I am able to look into this and guide you the best, can you share the associated case ID's here? From there, I will be able to review what the issue is and learn how you can address this.
I look forward to your response. The Forums community and I are here to support you.
Wishing you the best,
LeviDylan
