Selling Products from Brand-Recommended Distributor

I am writing to inquire about selling products on Amazon from a brand-recommended distributor. The distributor in question is M & J Toys Inc., which is an authorized distributor for the brand I intend to sell.

Could you please confirm if M & J Toys Inc. is recognized and approved by Amazon for selling products from this brand? Additionally, are there any specific steps or documentation required to ensure compliance with Amazon's policies?

Thank you for your assistance.

You need to check with the actual brand. Even if your distributor is authorized, that does not mean that you will automatically be authorized to sell the brand on Amazon. If you get written authorization from the brand to sell their products on Amazon, and buy from their authorized distributors, then you should have no problem. But if the brand doesn't want you selling their products here, doing so could result in losing your account.

Make sure you check that they are not authorized retailers, but authorized wholesale distributors and yes, you need brand approval, especially brands like Mattel will not likely approve you to retail on Amazon. Some of these brands are restricted and you wont find out until you paid for your order and then can't list the items, or you can list them and a few days later they are closed by Amazon...

Also, be careful with that place. their whopping 20 reviews on google are scammy and appear to be mostly from family friends. They used to be just a toy store not long ago and there are many "pretend" distributors out there that are actually retailers, going for larger order amounts...
