misleading A+ content?

Is this even allowed in A+ content?

How can a seller claim it's "BEST xxxxx in 2024"?

also, the "Reommanded by" section such as buyers guide.org and consumer echo... these are just templated site with no content

consumerecho com

buyersguide org

these are staging sites with no traffic

isn't this deceiving?

No that's not allowed (BEST). You can report it to Amazon. "Report a violation"

Hi @Seller_46pj8ASPGNFar,

Let me build on what @Seller_rI7BZIczK8iACsaid and share what Amazon's guidelines say about this.

Looking at the A+ content guidelines here, under the "Content restrictions" section, time-sensitive references like "best in 2024" aren't allowed. The guidelines specifically state they don't permit "time sensitive information."

As for those "Recommended by" claims, the same guidelines have some strict requirements. Under the "Content restrictions" section, they only allow up to 4 endorsements, and these must come from well-known publications or public figures. Each endorsement needs to include the author, date, and publication title.

There's more about this in the "Claims and awards" section too - any certification claims (like "recommended by") need to show:

  • The certifying body
  • Study or publication details
  • Year of certification

And you're right about those "best" claims - they're not permitted either. The guidelines specifically mention that "boastful claims such as '#1 rated,' 'top-rated,' 'best-selling'" aren't allowed.

Hope this helps clarify what's allowed in A+ content!
