I have a product that is gated for me in the United States but is selling in Canada. Is it possible to send inventory of this item to US FBA Fulfilment and have it Remote Fulfilled by Amazon? Even if it is gated in United States?

Just assuming you can, are you aware of what it will cost you to have it returned to you once they gate it there too?

Thank you for your question about Remote Fulfillment with FBA (RFwFBA) for a product that is gated in the US but available in Canada.
Unfortunately, Remote Fulfillment with FBA is not a workaround for selling gated products in the US. If a product is restricted or gated for you in the United States, you cannot use RFwFBA to circumvent that restriction, even if the product is approved for sale in Canada.
Remote Fulfillment with FBA is designed to help sellers expand their reach to customers in other countries using their existing domestic inventory. However, all products must still comply with the regulations and restrictions of the destination country.
In your case, since the product is gated for you in the US, you would not be able to create a US listing for it or have it fulfilled to US customers, regardless of where the inventory is stored.
My recommendation would be to focus on selling this product in the Canadian market, where it's approved. Alternatively, you could explore the process of getting ungated for this product category in the US if that's a possibility for your business.
