How do I close amazon seller account?
I opened an Amazon seller account at the beginning of this year. I never sold anything. About a month ago I followed some steps to cancel the account, but I keep receiving generic Amazon e-mail about Amazon seller. The question is: where do I go to double-check that the account is closed and that Amazon is no longer charging me?

Go to settings - account info - your services and next to sell on Amazon, does it say individual or professional ?
If professional, they will still charge you
You need to downgrade if it says professional
And is your account fully verified ? It will need to be and if so, you should just be able to click on the close account button on that same page under account management

If you are paying £30 a month then you need to downgrade your selling plan. Go to Settings (cog wheel top right) - Account Info - Your Services - Manage and downgrade.
Was your account fully verified ? - if not then you cannot completely close it, until active/verified.
If not you might just have to leave it to go dormant.
