"Item Not Delivered" claims
For a while now we received a series of "not delivered" claims. Always for the same product (out of over 1700 listings) and most with the same message: "what's wrong with my order? i checked everywhere it may have been delivered, but the result is nothing I found out. i don't want to wait anymore, Please refund. i will appreciate your service here!" I noticed the duplication of the messages due to the identical grammatical errors to the first message in the claim. Seemed to me like a cookie cutter claim but coming from different parts of the country, but always for the same product which is not a big seller... Nobody wanter replacement.
In our frustration to deal with random "hits" like this, we resorted to A) Buy shipping for this product from Amazon and B) Require Signature on delivery aside the 3.70 extra cost. I wanted to share the positive results of these actions because it was a breath of fresh air. Out of all the A-Z claims we got out of these fraudsters, none were granted to the buyer!
Secondly I wanted to alert others that there are probably fraud manuals out there (have been searching) because I find it funny that a series of claims will have the same content and errors. I am glad that Amazon is picking up on these patterns, but suggest that you follow the shipping tips above even if it means reverting your postage purchases to Amazon and adding more to the already expensive cost of postage, by requiring signature.

Unless your item is quite expensive, no need to pay extra for the Sig. Simply buying through Amazon covers $100, and even if your item is well over that, scammers (which the cookie-cutter template requests would indicate) are unlikely to file A-Z, as this puts them on Amazon's radar.
Yes, buy shipping through Amazon. But don't worry about sig unless your item is very expensive.
(and yes, lots of sources out there for how to scam "big bad Amazon", with most having no clue that they are scamming small sellers; although I doubt many care anyway.

We got the EXACT same SCAM for over 25 orders and all for the same exact items with each order being $78+ and here is the message copied and pasted from our lovely scammer "Katie"

what's wrong with my order? i checked everywhere it may have been delivered, but the result is nothing I found out. i don't want to wait anymore, Please refund. i will appreciate your service here!
I even pointed this out to seller central, but again, they just give you lip service and a bunch of "we understand how frustrating this must be for you" yada yada yada, but the customer says they didn't receive it - despite the package being marked as "handed to resident".

There are websites dedicated to "scammery" and have been for years. Social media has exacerbated the problem exponentially.
And, yes, these rackets are often recognizable by their nearly-identical wording.
On the old forums, you could just enter a bit of the suspect wording and find a match where it had happened to others. But I don't know if this new, largely unusable, forum would be helpful with this.

I have actually gotten to the bottom of this one. After looking at all of these repeat messages of unclaimed packages, I finally noticed a pattern. Same item(s) purchased and bought by someone other than who it is shipping to. For example, Adhra purchases for Mike, or Katie for Sandra, etc... Purchaser is different than recipient and same item(s) are being hit with this scam over and over. For us it was our 3 packs of cologne and aftershave. Virtually every single 3 pack we sold got hit with this scam with the identical customer message " what's wrong with my order? i checked everywhere it may have been delivered, but the result is nothing I found out. i don't want to wait anymore, Please refund. i will appreciate your service here!" and refunded their money each time. After also noticing the glaring punctuation, capitalization, etc mistakes similar in all these messages, I realized there was a clear pattern. I decided to start googling the recipient names and addresses for the packages with these scam messages and refunds and got phone numbers for them. Well after making a few calls, I found out how this is happening. Your recipients and ship to addresses, are actually orders that were placed on other platforms such as Walmart, eBay, etc. These are fake sellers with no inventory. They list the same listing as on Amazon but on other platforms and at a better price than on Amazon, stealing the business from Amazon. For us, a 3 pack sells for $81 but our fake seller listed it on Walmart for $73. Victim/Buyer purchases on Walmart from fake seller. Fake seller on Walmart then creates an Amazon account under some name and purchases the order from us on Amazon and has the order shipped to the Walmart purchaser by us, the Amazon vendor. The scammer never has to touch the inventory, never pays for shipping, then claims they never received their package, when the Walmart purchaser has indeed received it and has no idea a claim is being filed on Amazon for what was their Walmart order. The scammer walks out with the money from their Walmart listing, customer from Walmart gets their order, albeit from the Amazon platform order, and the scammer also gets their money back from Amazon. Scammer doubles their money. Vendors losses product and shipping. Walmart customer gets their package. Walmart gets their 15% and Amazon gets nothing.

These INR claims are most likely being made by a drop shipper selling on another platform which is why they are filing A to Z claims as they do not care about their AMAZON account. The scammer is not the addressee!

Greekshops please find me on Google as the manufacturer of Jade East and more. We are Regency Cosmetics, find our phone number and call me if you are willing to share our information regarding this same SCAM. We have been getting hit with it since as early as August of 2023. I am trying to get vendors information and going to our local tv news channel to blow this thing up.

Yeah this is a drop shipper not a normal customer. Gross.

Thank you for this post as I have recently gotten like 4 of these scam requests too. Dialogue is the same and tracking shows items have been delivered. I will say that when these folks file an a-z claim amazon has been covering them immediately and not impacting my ODR. In fact they aren’t even having me reply to the claims so I feel like they are aware and being supportive of sellers when we purchase shipping through them.

We are familiar with this too. I have a spreadsheet where I track them and look for patterns in the initial contact as well as the following A-to-z claim. "what's wrong with my order? i checked everywhere it may have been delivered, but the result is nothing I found out. i don't want to wait anymore, Please refund. i will appreciate your service here!" is one of them. They also tend to be the same handful of products.
I believe they are dropshipping for the same price or lower than Amazon, and then using the A-to-z Guarantee to reduce their costs.

I use Amazon Buy Shipping services and so far they've covered or denied all these, except for the first 2 which date all the way back to 2022.
PS: I originally thought about posting to the forum to see if it was only happening to me, but didn't want to "let the cat out of the bag" and let the scammer know I was onto them. However, it's out there now so I guess it's time for us to put up a fight. If anyone has any other exact quoted canned messages that are confirmed to be the same scammers please share so we can all update our lists. How these are confirmed is I found the exact entire quotes on multiple orders.
