Not allowed to fix search suppressed ASIN
So, an ASIN I have been selling for many years has all of a sudden been search suppressed. It's a popular item, has the coveted 'Amazon's Choice' badge, so I was eager to fix the issue. Amazon says that it's suppressed because of 'no product description'.
Here's the problem - when I go to add the product description back (no idea how it got deleted), Amazon says 'Since you are not the brand owner for this product, you can only create an offer for this ASIN. You are not authorized to make or request an update for any other attribute for this product'.
So, I'm stuck. Any ideas on how to resolve this?
